Xero Summer Seminar Series - panel of techsperts on entrepreneurial IT startups

Description

Xero brings you, in association with Summer of Code 09, a hot summer of seminars.  Tech-talks, lunch, networking opportunities, SoC 09 connects the Wellington IT community with the future talent pool!

It's business time!  Our panel of experts have a wide range of experience starting, growing, selling & investing in tech companies.  They'll talk about the latest & greatest startup ideas, plus answer your questions about starting & running a technology company.

The Panel:
Lance Wiggs is an independent consultant providing management, strategy, growth and valuation consulting to industrial, media and internet based businesses -  http://lancewiggs.com/

Dave Moskovitz is currently Chairman of WebFund Limited and has experience in governance roles in a variety of privately held companies and not-for-profits. He also writes a blog on angel investment, NZ Angels.- http://nzangels.com/

Melissa Clark-Reynolds has a string of entrepreneurial successes, from establishing NZ's largest private accident compensation insurer – Fusion, to latest startup venture Minimonos. An International Professional Speaker on business, entrepreneurship and technology - http://melissaclark-reynolds.com/

Glenn Andert's previous life was centered around a career in software start-ups in Silicon Valley. He escaped and became El Capitan on ‘Learjet’ sailing around the South Pacific for three years, and now resides in Wellington - http://glennandert.com/

PLUS!  Code to Customer will do a 5 minute pitch on their latest & greatest developments.

The Xero Summer Seminar Series (XSSS) is designed to inform, upskill and connect the Wellington Summer of Code students with the wider IT community.  Light lunch is included, and ALL SoC 09 participants (students & companies) are welcome to attend, free of charge.

Other members of the Wellington IT community are very welcome too!  We are a not-for-profit programme, and would hugely appreciate a small donation from non-SoC attendees (e.g. $10 waged, $5 unwaged) to help cover the costs of this event.
