Summer of Code (SoC) is a non-profit programme that creates paid summer internship opportunities for students in technology companies. We help to accelerate the students' work-readiness, with an industry-led programme of "bootcamp" workshops during 2nd trimester, delivered by top IT experts and professionals from throughout New Zealand.
SoC also provides a summer seminar series of weekly industry events and networking opportunities during the summer, bringing together the SoC interns, their host companies and the wider ICT community. SoC has partnered with Xero (sponsor of the Summer Seminar Series) and Unlimited Potential (a Wellington ICT network that supports with administration of the programme including accounts & event management support).
